James and Karla Murray are husband-and-wife New York-based professional photographers and authors. The focus of their photography is the changing storefront-scenery in cities, especially New York.

Their 2008 book, Store Front, was among Bookforum’s „Exemplary Art Books From The Past Two Decades“ in 2015 and has been proclaimed „One of the periods most successful New York books.”
