Elvira Bach

About the artist
Born 1951 in Germany, lives and works in Berlin.
Studied painting in Berlin untill 1979.
After having an exhibition at ‘documenta’ in Kassel, Bach gained worldwide recognition.
Her pieces usually reflect on and mirror topics and events of her own life. Thus she sticks to the same object of painting – women, resembling the artist.
Bach’s works are displayed in public collections and museums.
